As a MedjetHorizon Member, if you become hospitalized 150 miles or more from your primary residence, Medjet will arrange and pay for medical transportation to a home-country hospital of your choice for inpatient care. The MedjetHorizon Short-Term Membership is ideal for individuals (up to age 75), and families, planning a cruise or getaway. Enjoy all the MedjetHorizon benefits as Annual Members, with travel protection provided 24 hours a day during the selected travel period.

Benefits begin at 12:01AM of effective date and expire at midnight (CDT) of expiration date, and membership must be activated prior to departure from your primary residence - so be sure your whole trip is covered when selecting your dates!

Diamond Memberships

The Diamond Membership offered by Medjet is available to individuals age 75 to 84. Diamond Members are limited to one medical transport per membership year, otherwise enjoy all the same benefits as all other MedjetHorizon Members. For this membership, we do require a brief health questionnaire and medical statement form be completed. Please allow 5-7 business days for application to be reviewed.

Medjet’s Annual Collegiate International Memberships were developed for students and academic faculty up to age 75, who are attending or teaching at a university or other accredited educational programs outside of their home country for up to 20 weeks at a time. Designed for the motorcycle enthusiast, this upgrade is available for residents of the U.S., Canada or Mexico, and provides for motorcycle transfer costs of up to $3500. If the Medjet Member is hospitalized 150 miles or more from home and unable to ride his/her motorcycle (or it is not drivable), Medjet will make arrangements for the motorcycle to be transferred to the shop or dealership of the member’s choice within his/her home country.

This MedjetHorizon service for travelers through age 74 goes above and beyond the benefits of the air medical transportation benefits of a MedjetAssist Membership. Should a MedjetHorizon Member require care only found at a specialty hospital more than 150 miles away from their home hospital, Medjet will arrange air medical transfer to that hospital at no additional cost.

If a MedjetHorizon Member is hospitalized less than 150 miles from their primary address, Medjet will arrange ground hospital transfer back to the member’s home hospital of choice within that 150 mile radius at no additional charge to the member.
