These special memberships were designed for academic faculty and students attending university or other accredited educational programs who are traveling more than 150 miles from home. Various collegiate membership options ranging from domestic based travel to extended international travel are available.
Specially priced membership options are available for academic faculty and students who are residents of the U.S., Canada or Mexico attending university or other accredited educational programs and studying or teaching outside their home country. To accommodate most study-abroad semesters, the basic Collegiate International membership extends Medjet's standard allowance of 90 consecutive days out of the country to 140 consecutive days.
Extended-stay annual memberships are for faculty and students who will be traveling outside of the their home country in excess of 20 consecutive weeks.
In the event of an inpatient hospitalization while traveling more than 150 miles from home, for educational or leisure purposes, this membership provides for medical transfer to the home hospital or specialty hospital of the member's choice. No health questions, deductibles or claim forms are required.
The Collegiate U.S. 48 Membership is specially priced protection available to U.S. students based within the contiguous U.S. 48 states. This special membership was designed for academic faculty and students attending university or other accredited educational programs who are traveling or attending school more than 150 miles from home and also within the contiguous U.S. 48 states.
In the event of an inpatient hospitalization while traveling more than 150 miles from home, for educational or leisure purposes, this membership provides for hospital of choice medical transfer to a home hospital or specialty hospital within the contiguous 48 United States. No health questions, deductibles or claim forms are required.
Individual Membership - $185.00 per year
Family Membership - $315.00 per year
The Collegiate North America Membership is specially priced protection available to North American faculty and students in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. This special membership was designed for academic faculty and students attending university or other accredited educational programs who are traveling or attending school more than 150 miles from home within North America.
NOTE: Members traveling outside of their home country for more than 20 consecutive weeks are not eligible for this membership and must enroll in one of the Extended-Stay membership options.
